YG Entertainment posted ‘Happy BLACKPINK 8th Anniversary’ on its official blog on the 7th. The pink typography poster, reminiscent of a balloon, created a festive atmosphere and thrilled the hearts of Blink fans around the world.
According to YG, BLACKPINK planned various types of events to meet the love and expectations of their fans. First of all, the ‘Blippingosa’ question paper with questions about BLACKPINK has been distributed on the fan platform Weverse and has been well received, and special content is planned to be added in the future, so a good response is expected.
Starbucks in nine Asian countries, including Korea, will provide 9th anniversary stickers only to BLACKPINK drink and food buyers on August 8, the anniversary of their debut, and a 8th anniversary photo booth will be set up at the Verdy pop-up in New York for 7 days from 9 to 11.
In addition, BLACKPINK has graced 76 screens at the Sycacus Junction Station in New Jersey, USA, painting every corner of the country pink.
